Cowboy Action

• The costume this does not need to be anything fancy a button up shirt jeans and boots will work. 
• The group at the heart mountain rod and gun club have even let people shoot without a costume to try out the sport, but you will want one one if you are going to make it your hobby.

• lever action rifle
• double barrel shotgun or a Winchester 1897 pump action shot gun or replica 
• Two single action revolvers

Before you spend a fist full of dollars, there is a long list of requirements of what you must do to fit into a category, so it is best to bring what you got and barrow the rest, so you can try some of the different things before you spend a few more dollars.

Ammunition for cowboy action is simple.

• for rifle and revolver ammo it must be lead.
• for shotgun no steel or high velocity shells.
• no funny business. If you want to know what funny business is read it in the rule book on page 12.
